Heather Shaheen is an important part of our staff as a licensed Christian Counselor. A committed Christian and a spiritually gifted counselor, Heather is available to help you deal with your personal, marital or family challenges. She is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, with a B.S. in Psychology, M.Ed. in Special Education, M.S.W. in Social Work, and M.A.C.E. in Christian Education from Union-PSCE.  Heather is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and the National Association of Social Workers.  Heather’s experience includes serving on the staff at Resource Guidance Services, Inc. as a Counselor and Director of Education Services.  In addition, she has served as a Middle School Teacher in an Emotional Disabilities Program and as Leadership Coordinator for the Central Virginia Leadership Academy at Virginia Commonwealth University.  Heather is truly committed to being in ministry to those in need. She enjoys working with individuals and can serve as a Counselor in a variety of areas including:
