Worship Ministry
Messages
We believe that the Bible is the best source of guidance for our
lives. Each week the pastor presents a Biblically-based message
that is relevant to the real-life issues and challenges we face
each day.
Music
Music is an integral part of every New
Song service. We believe that good music in the hands of
anointed singers and musicians can have a powerful impact for
God. We use an ensemble of singers and a live band each week.
Although we sometimes sing some of the traditional hymns of the
faith, most of our music is contemporary Christian. Each week we
sing a few contemporary praise & worship songs--most of them
upbeat and celebrative, while others are more meditative. The
music compliments the message theme of the day.
Drama
We frequently use drama to help underscore
the theme of the day. Our dramas usually are four to eight
minute real-life sketches...sometimes humorous, sometimes
serious. The goal is to
help people focus on crucial issues and create a high degree of
identification with the pastor's message for that day.
Multimedia
We make regular use of video and
presentation graphics to enhance the communication of the
message of the day.
