We invite you to join us as we embark on gleaning lots and lots of feedback from New Song Church to help us navigate through a new season in ministry. Where is God leading us? What do we need to do more of or less of, or start.... even stop?! Running April 4th - 24th we are soliciting your honest feedback. These questions can be answered daily, or all at once if you choose. Please be in thought and prayer as you give us your thoughts, suggestions, reflections and best advice. We look forward to hearing from you! Please be in prayer for the church and the leaders!
Please send your responses to [email protected]. Thank you!
1. What 1-2 things do you LOVE about New Song Church?
2. If you could whisper something over to the Church’s leadership, but you had never thought to share it before, what might that whisper be?
3. What “needs” in this community do you see New Song Church currently reaching?
4. What improvement(s) would you love to see New Song make to the facility and/or campus?
5. What do you like MOST about living in the Mechanicsville/Richmond region?
6. How could our Church make an even greater impact upon your faith journey?
7. New Song depends upon the generosity of its members via tithes, offerings, gifts and contributions. What has tithing (or even NOT being generous to God) taught you in your faith? How have you seen God “show up” in your life?
8. If we were to prioritize a goal to “reach out to those we haven’t seen in a long time,” what recommendation would you make towards re-connecting with these persons?
9. What “needs” in the world do you see New Song Church reaching?
10. How would you describe the reputation of New Song Church in our community? Does your assessment appear Christ-like as you reflect on what others might say, think or believe? Is this reputation favorable? Unfavorable?
11. Is there a New Song mission or ministry that you would like to connect with… but haven’t? What might help bridge the gap between not engaging and full-on participation?
12. What “need” in our community should New Song be meeting that we are currently not working towards?
13. Where has Jesus ‘shown up’ in your life through the outreach, groups and overall ministry of New Song Church?
14. As our Church’s leadership begins to think of a “guiding principle” and over-arching vision for the next 2-5 years for New Song, what excites you the most? What scares you?
15. Part 1: If asked the following question: “What is your biggest prayer over New Song Church?” How would you answer this question? Who do you include in your prayers? What topics do you include? Part 2: If asked the following question: “What is your biggest prayer over our church?” Who do you exclude? Who doesn’t seem to have a seat at Christ’s Table? In what ways could we do more to allow others to know of God’s love?
16. Are there areas in our community you would like to see us focus upon that we are not currently reaching (schools, subdivisions, people groups, etc.)?
17. What feedback would you be willing to offer about small groups at New Song? If not currently participating in a group, what would need to change in order to have you join a group?
18. New Song seeks to be a church for all ages. What feedback might you provide by way of ministries to senior adults, youth, boomers, children, etc.?
19. How do you best communicate? What mediums do you find most useful? What would you like to pass along about how we can best communicate with you?
20. If given a fictitious “magic” wand, what *1* thing might you improve in New Song’s outreach, priorities, ministries, staffing structure, worship, facility, etc.?
Please send your responses to [email protected]. Feel free to send in one a day, or answer more at a time if you wish. Thank you for your feedback!
