On Sunday, March 8, 2020, a presentation was made during both worship services that encompassed many talking points for the new proposal to transition from the existing teams (detailed below by each team & member) to a new structure that falls under the heading of "Simplified Board Structure." We have chosen to call this combined, less-complex structure the Executive Ministry Team.
On Sunday, June 7, 2020, our District Superintendent led a Charge Conference to switch our governance model to a Simplified Board.
This change is detailed below in the "presentation" and "job description" documentation.

Executive Ministry Team: Responsible for big picture strategy; keepers of the church’s mission and vision; holds final authority on all church-related decisions.
Lay Leadership: Nominates/recruits leaders and volunteers; holds training and coaching sessions for all positions throughout the year.

Facilities Maintenance Team: Helps to manage the church’s insurance and facility concerns, provides oversight of the campus – everything from snow removal contracts to changing light bulbs!
Ministries Resource Team: Oversees and carries out the worship, ministries, resources, events and activities of the Church and provides Church calendar supervision.
