Who is CHES?
Cold Harbor Elementary School, located in Mechanicsville, Virginia. Recognized in 1999 as a Blue Ribbon School by the United States Department of Education, Cold Harbor has had a time-honored and proud tradition of excellence since their inception in 1983. 550 students, affectionately known as Cold Harbor Cougars, comprise two preschool programs and kindergarten through fifth-grade classes. Approximately 70 staff members work together to inspire greatness in all of the students they serve.

Who is PACE-VCU?
The Pace Center is an inclusive, multicultural, VCU community. Pace is a place where students feel their unique stories and gifts are valued. As a ministry of the United Methodist Church, they believe all are created to live in deep relationship with one another, not in isolation. They also believe every individual has been created with infinite value and an important role to play in their community. Activities to connect with students include: Fellowship, workshops/classes, meals, mentorships and volunteer opportunities.

The Richmond SPCA serves as advocates for animals. They provide for the safety and comfort of animals, strive to alleviate their suffering and work to place them in homes that provide a responsible lifetime commitment to them. They speak out publicly to promote and defend the interests of the animals, opposing all forms of animal cruelty. They provide services that promote responsible pet ownership and humane attitudes toward all life.
