Brianna ParknowBri is currently on staff at the University of Connecticut. First becoming involved with Cru her freshman year of college in 2018, she began to truly experience the community of believers that's fostered in Cru. After months of being involved, she came to know Jesus and put her trust in Him as her savior. With the opportunities provided through Cru and with the encouragement from the team of dedicated staff, Bri decided to continue to grow in her faith by interning for two years with Cru at George Mason University from 2021 to 2023.
Bri felt called to continue in campus ministry long-term through her love of sharing with others who Jesus is, help grow student's relationships with God, and cultivate confidence in their faith that will last a lifetime. It's been a joy for Bri to see the power and sovereignty of the Lord in the past few years of faithfully trusting Him, and she is excited to serve in a new area and campus as she trusts Him to where He has led her: UConn! Other fun things about Bri is she loves to travel to new coffee shops with her husband, Brandon, go on long runs on the forest trails in Connecticut, and try new recipes to bake! |

We truly appreciate your desire to make a contribution to our ministry! God will surely multiply your donation to bring glory to His Name to people all around the world. We pray that you may be richly blessed with treasures in Heaven if you choose invest in what we are doing together around the world.
If you don't know our story, we have been working with Cru since 2009. We both got involved in Cru at Virginia Tech as undergraduates where our lives were transformed as we learned what Biblical community looks like and how to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit. After college, we interned with Cru for two years (Whit at Virginia Tech, Sydni in Venezuela), helping other college students walk with Jesus.
Our next steps took us to Pennsylvania where we took served staff members on campuses in six states and six countries. Whit continued working with Cru while Sydni pursued her master's degree in Agricultural Economics. Then we moved to France where Whit led a team of interns serving the North Africa & Middle East.
Since we returned to the US in 2019, we have been serving in roles with two Cru ministries. Sydni is using her degree to lead agricultural training workshops with Unto, Cru's humanitarian ministry. Cru missionaries and partners around the world use these workshops to advance their local ministries as they share the gospel in the toughest places.
Whit is leading organizational change for FamilyLife, Cru's ministry bringing hope to marriages and families. As FamilyLife adds new programs and expands their reach, Whit speaks into the change process, providing input on how to create systems that will allow more families to find restoration and share the hope they have in Christ.
