(Week 1: November 1-6)
November 1
“Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever.” Psalm 106:1
Start a gratitude journal and add to it throughout the month.
November 2
“Thanks be to God for His indescribable gift!” 2 Corinthians 9:15
Go out of your way to help someone today.
November 3
“...give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:18
Give someone a heartfelt compliment.
November 4
“Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever.” 1 Chronicles 16:34
Donate food to give thanks for what you have. (MCEF, Backpack Ministry, FeedMore)
November 5
“But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57
Bake a treat for your neighbor.
November 6
“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” Colossians 3:15
Be intentional to spend time with someone you care about today.
(Week 2: November 7-13)
November 7
“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.” Psalm 100:4

“Let them give thanks to the Lord for His unfailing love and His wonderful deeds for mankind.” Psalm 107:21
Select and purchase a gift from the Giving Tree.
November 9
“...and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of His holy people in the kingdom of light.” Colossians 1:12
Tell your loved ones why you love them. Be specific.
November 10
“When you sacrifice a thank offering to the Lord, sacrifice it in such a way that it will be accepted on your behalf.” Leviticus 22:29
Volunteer to do a task for someone.
November 11
“Give praise to the Lord, proclaim His name; make known among the nations what he has done.” 1 Chronicles 16:8
Pack a shoebox for Operation Christmas Child or choose a mission and donate an item. Drop it off at New Song.
November 12
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” Philippians 4:6
Go outside, take time to stop, breathe and thank God for His creation.
November 13
“Sing the praises of the Lord, you His faithful people; praise His holy name.” Psalm 30:4
Leave a note of encouragement in a public place.
(Week 3: November 14-20)
November 14
“Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise - the fruit of lips that openly profess His name.” Hebrews 13:15
Hug someone.
November 15
“But thanks be to God, who always leads us as captives in Christ’s triumphal procession and uses us to spread the aroma of the knowledge of Him everywhere.” 2 Corinthians 2:14
Lend a hand to someone needing help.
November 16
“Surely the righteous will praise your name, and the upright will live in your presence.” Psalm 140:13
Replace every complaint with a blessing.
November 17
“He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked Him - and he was a samaritan.” Luke 17:16
Call a friend or family member and be an active listener.
November 18
“Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.” Colossians 4:2
Be watchful & thankful in your prayers today.
November 19
“All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.” 2 Corinthians 4:15
Choose a mission to support and donate an item, give a gift or serve.
November 20
“I will give you thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.” Psalm 35:18
Go on a walk and find something beautiful.
(Week 4: November 21-27)
November 21
“Coming up to them at that very moment, she gave thanks to God and spoke about the child to all who were looking forward to the redemption of Jerusalem.” Luke 2:38
Do a random act of kindness.
November 22
“Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20
Cheer on somebody else’s achievements (out loud).
November 23
“I will praise God’s name in song and glorify Him with thanksgiving.” Psalm 69:30
Find as many excuses as you can to smile today.
November 24
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.” Colossians 2:6-7
Write Colossians 2:6-7 on a notecard and read it throughout the day.
November 25 (HAPPY Thanksgiving!)
“Then He took the seven loaves and the fish, and when He had given thanks, He broke them and gave them to the disciples, and they in turn to the people.” Matthew 15:36
Invite someone to spend Thanksgiving with you or serve a meal with a local mission.
November 26
“Proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds.” Psalm 26:7
Think of someone who made a difference in your life. Tell them.
November 27
“Then He took a cup, and when He had given thanks, He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.” Mark 14:23
Close your eyes and picture 10 things you are thankful for. Write them down.
(Week 5: November 28-30)
November 28
“Then we Your people, the sheep of Your pasture, wil praise You forever; from generation to generation we will proclaim Your praise.” Psalm 79:13
Rake leaves or clean for someone and tell them you appreciate them.
November 29
“But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.” 2 Thessalonians 2:13
Send a loved one a handwritten note.
November 30
“Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song.” Psalm 95:2
Read over your gratitude journal for the month and share your favorite activity for the past 30 days!
Post a picture or share a celebration of the way you are sharing “thankfulness” with others!
