Experience: Heather has provided quality treatment to children, adolescents, adults and families for over 2 decades in the Richmond region. Her career experience includes serving as the Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Director of Missions and Outreach with New Song Church since 2003. Heather has recently served as the President of Hanover Cares partnering with the local Hanover community agencies and residents to provide education and training to advocate for substance abuse prevention amongst our youth and young adult populations; she previously served 5 years as the Coordinator and Leader of Celebrate Recovery at New Song Church, served 5 years as the Coordinator of the Central Virginia Leadership Academy at VCU, 4 years as a Middle School Special Education Teacher and advocate and 2 years as the Coordinator of Adoption Services with Adoption Resources International. Heather feels very Blessed to work with so many in our local community helping individuals discover they matter to God and are loved.
